Intermediate Company
The Intermediate Company is designed for dedicated dancers who are committed to continuing their technical growth and artistic development in an age-appropriate and supportive environment. This program provides dancers with the opportunity to strengthen their technique, build confidence, and continue progressing toward their individual goals while receiving comprehensive training from our experienced faculty.
Intermediate Company members participate in a rigorous weekly training schedule that includes three Ballet classes, Jazz, Contemporary, Acro, and Conditioning, providing a strong technical foundation while developing versatility, strength, flexibility, and performance quality. Dancers also have the option to further expand their training through elective Hip-Hop and Tap classes alongside PDC dancers.
As part of the Intermediate Company experience, dancers perform and compete in choreography specifically created for their level, allowing them to continue developing as performers while gaining valuable stage experience in both competitive and non-competitive settings. Members remain an important part of the PDC community and benefit from many of the same performance opportunities, faculty, and training experiences offered throughout the season.
Placement in the Intermediate Company is determined through audition and instructor evaluation. This program is ideal for dancers who demonstrate dedication, a positive work ethic, and a desire to continue advancing their skills through focused technical training and performance opportunities.
The Intermediate Company serves as a bridge in a dancer's development, providing the time, training, and support needed to build confidence, refine technique, and prepare for future advancement within the PDC program.
